But this fanfic will not star him. Instead, it stars most of Team 10 (Future Team Asuma) featuring Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yakamana, Choji Akimichi. But mainly involving Shikamaru and Ino...

Here's the story

Team 10 were busy in the training field honing their ninja skills and creating and practicing new ones.

Shikamaru was honing his skills with his Shadow Clone Jutsus, trying to aim them at the correct time.

Ino was practicing her mind transferring jutsus and her genjutsus

Choji was busy practicing his multi size jutsu, but also something else.

"Hey Choji?" Shikamaru asked as he looked over to his pal and teammate. "What kind of technique are you doing?"

"Oh, just a new one I made up is all." Choji answered as he was concentrating his energy.

Ino stopped her training and looked at Choji. "What new technique could you make up?" she asked in a bit of frustration.

"A new one my dad taught me, one able to make an enemy ninja useless for five days, but I'm making it so any enemy would give up his or her ninja life style for good!" Choji told his allies/friends.

Shikamaru made a whistle upon hearing that. "That powerful huh?" he asked with a smile.

Choji smiled and nodded as he channeled his chakra.

"What kinda technique could your dad taught you?" Ino asked.

"Able to turn anyone into a balloon." Choji answered as he charged chakra.

Shikamaru and Ino looked at Choji with confusion in their eyes.

Ino blurted out with laughter. "You serious?!" she asked in laughter.

"It's no joke Ino, I have heard of the Akimichi clan being able to do that but I've never seen it done before." Shikamaru told Ino.

"But still...it's so ridiculous, it's funny!" Ino said in laughter.

"It's no joke!" Choji told Ino. "How'd ya think our parents fell in love?!"

"How?!" Ino shouted with laughter still.

"Like...THIS!" Choji yelled out, now touching Ino's arm, letting chakra absorb into her.

Ino suddenly stopped laughing as she felt her body feeling weird. "W-W-What are you doing to me?" she asked in fear.

"Oh boy." Shikamaru responded.

Ino looked at her body and suddenly found her innie becoming an outtie, tearing a hole from her stomach bandages, and her belly bulging and inflating. "AHHHHH!!!!! CHOJI!!!!" she screamed as her back and sides bulged and inflated alongside her belly, her cheeks puffing out suddenly.

"Sorry Ino, but you tempted me." Choji apologized.

Ino whimpered as her arms and legs suddenly puffed out and biggened, her ninja belly and leg bandages tearing apart but her purple outfit, white ninja sleeves, and white panties remaining intact and fitting nicely around her body. "Choji! Shikamaru! Help!" she pleaded as her arms and legs started to sink into her body.

Shikamaru closed his eyes, but was blushing and sweating a bit. "Choji, know anything that might reverse that?" he asked.

"Sorry Shikamaru." Choji answered. "If it was for five days, it just goes away, but this is permanent."

"Great..." Shikamaru replied.

"But why are you blushing?!" Choji asked with a mock smile and a bit of a snicker.

"HUH?!" Shikamaru responded in shock. "U-Uhh...I-I'm not blushing Choji!!"

Choji said nothing as he snickered a bit.

Ino continued inflating and getting bigger and rounder, her arms and legs gone and her groin pressing against the ground. Her head, hands, and legs were pulled in a bit till she finally stopped inflating and became an 8 foot balloon. "Oooohhh...help..." she whimpered.

Shikamaru said nothing as he looked at Ino normally. The only difference however is that he was blushing a bit.

"Guys...help me!" Ino pleaded. "I can't move and I feel ridiculous!"

"Hmmm...maybe...ehhh..." Choji spoke, thinking.

"Well?" Ino asked.

Shikamaru looked at Choji.

"I know!" Choji responded. "Shikamaru should keep you!"

"WHAT?!" Shikamaru replied in shock. "Me?!!"

"Well..." Ino said, thinking about it and blushing a bit. "I guess it...could be alright if Shikamaru could keep a hold onto me for a while."

Shikamaru continued to blush as he grabbed Ino and tipped onto her belly. "I-I-I'll just take her to my place." he told Choji. "My mom's not home at the moment so she won't go overboard."

Choji nodded. "I'll just head back home then." he said.

Shikamaru nodded and carefully rolled Ino back to his place.

Ino squeaked a bit as she was rolled away.

Choji walked back towards his place.

**Moments later**

"YOU DID WHAT?!" Shikaku Nara (Shikamaru's father), Choza Akimichi (Choji's father), and Inoichi Yamanaka (Ino's father) yelled at Choji after founding out.

"W--Well...it was an accident." Choji apologized.

The three fathers soon calmed down a bit.

"Well...never thought Ino would be the first one in a long time." Inoichi replied.

"I know you did it before dad." Choji said, turning to his dad.

"Well...it was also used for one other thing." Choza replied.

"Huh?" Choji responded in question. "What else was it used for?"

The three fathers smiled.

"How do you think we fell in love with our wives?" Shikaku told Choji, smiling and remembering the time Yoshino was inflated before he married her, snickering.

Inoichi and Choza snickered with Shikaku as they remember their wives inflated before they were married.

Choji looked at the three with confusion.

**At Shikamaru's home that night**

Ino laid on her back too helpless to move as she waited for Shikamaru.

Shikamaru returned with his pajamas on, laying down next to Ino. "You gonna be fine?" he asked.

"I...I will be." Ino replied. "What's gonna happen to me now that I'm like this? What would boys like Sasuke think?"

"Hm?" Shikamaru responded.

"I know Naruto would laugh at me, but Sasuke and Neji might do the same thing." Ino said. "Even Gaara." She turned to her side and became sad.

Shikamaru looked at Ino, blushing heavily. *Man...this is gonna be a drag...* he thought. He came over to Ino and suddenly kissed on of her rounded cheeks a bit.

Ino felt the kiss and blushed heavily, turning to Shikamaru. "Shika...maru...?" she asked.

"K-K-Kinda of a new...feeling I'm having." Shikamaru stammered.

Ino looked at Shikamaru, blushing heavily before she planted a kiss onto his cheek.

Shikamaru felt the kiss and blushed heavily before looking at Ino, sweating a bit.

"You...like me?" Ino asked. "Even as...a balloon?"

Shikamaru nodded a tiny bit, blushing and sweating. "I just don't...express my feelings that much." he told Ino.

"I...see..." Ino responded. She slowly smiled a bit as she looked at Shikamaru. "Thank you."

Shikamaru looked at Ino, calmed down, and smiled at her. "You're welcome." he said. He covered the balloon kounichi with a large blanket, laid down next to her, and nodded off, smiling.

Ino smiled back and nodded off peacefully.

**Next Day**

"WHAT?!!!!" Naruto yelled in question at Choji, standing right next to Neji and Sasuke. "You turned Ino into a balloon?!"

*I've got to learn to keep my mouth shut.* Choji thought. "Well...it was an accident."

"A technique to turn people into balloons, huh?" Sasuke said, not really caring as usual. "Kinda pathetic if you ask me."

"Pathetic yes..." Neji agreed. "But powerful none the less."

"It really is." Choji said.

Naruto thought for a moment about Choji's balloonification technique before a goofy smile came up. "You think you can try it on Hinata?" he asked, thinking about a Hinata balloon.

Choji, Sasuke, and Neji looked at Naruto with shock and confusion in their eyes.

"S...Seriously?!" Choji asked.

Naruto nodded with a smile.

"Well..." Neji spoke, blushing a bit. "If Naruto wants a Hinata balloon...you wouldn't mind if you inflate Tenten as well?"

"Uhhh...sure." Choji answered before turning to Sasuke. "What about you?"

"Hmh. I really don't care." Sasuke answered.

Naruto, Neji, and Choji looked at Sasuke with face expressions saying 'Yeah right'.

Sasuke soon blushed a bit, his eyes still closed. "Sakura." he answered.

After that, Shikamaru and Ino lived happily ever after...well, by Konoha ninja standards but still, you get the idea.
